After a fantastic New Years Eve event Bodymove continue to host the best in House music with International guests and sparkling production. Attracting a loyal hedonistic crowd, Bodymove showcases music from all ends of the House spectrum, and true to Egg and Bodymove form, the parties ‘open-til-superlate’ policy will be just that.
Pssst label heads Chocolate Puma teamed up with fellow Dutchman Gregor Salto on their last release ‘Tragito De Ron’, which winds its way through chopped Latin vocal samples and insanely hard-hitting drums, making for hip-shaking, hand-waving, infectiously danceable house at its very finest. Their “House Masters” album Collection on Defected has collected together some of their finest moments including their huge 1992 crossover dance track ‘Give It Up’ under their ‘The Good Men’ moniker. It all started here for them with the track reaching no.5 in the UK charts and becoming an international hit across the world despite being created in Gaston’s bedroom on a small mixer and broken speakers. Being such a fundamental moment, the track has been given as special re-work on this album bringing it back up to date and reintroducing it to a new generation of clubbers.

Their House Masters compilation also features some other great examples of their reworked classics including their powerful techno flavoured alter ego Jark Prongo ‘Movin Thru Your System’ (1999), ‘I Wanna Be U’ (2000) and ‘A Star Is Born’ (2003). With ‘Always And Forever’ (2005) being one of the only tracks presented in its original form.
Other essential tracks featured include ‘Tonco Tone’ the Beatport House number 1, the 2011 remake of Boris Dlugosch and Roisin Murphy’s ‘Never Enough’ alongside vocal monsters ‘Morning Rain’, ‘Touch Me’, ‘Only Love Can Save Me’ and remixes of Strictly Rhythm classics ‘Bass Tone’ and ‘(Who) Keeps Changing Your Mind’.
